‘Cultural Heritage Quest’ Offers Chance to Win a Florida Keys Getaway

FLORIDA KEYS — To celebrate the Florida Keys’ vibrant cultural community and heritage, a recently launched social media trivia competition offers entrants the chance to win a getaway to explore cultural offerings and experiences throughout the island chain.

The winner of the “Florida Keys Cultural Heritage Quest” and a guest are to receive a four-night stay to embark on a journey of personal creativity, participating in experiential activities including an art class, a performance evening and arts and literary tours.

To enter, participants must complete a short trivia quiz about the Keys’ cultural heritage milestones, offerings and role as a haven for legendary writers and visual artists. The “Cultural Heritage Quest” is presented by the Florida Keys tourism council/Monroe County Tourist Development Council and the entry period continues through Friday, March 15, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.

The giveaway’s entry page link can be found in posts on the Florida Keys’ Facebook page and as a link below the bio (@thefloridakeys) on Instagram, TikTok and X/Twitter. Rules and terms are available on the entry page.

Valued at nearly $2,700, the prize includes two nights' accommodations for two at the exclusive Casa Morada in Islamorada and two nights’ accommodations for two at historic Westwinds Inn in Key West. The winner and a guest also can tour Islamorada’s Morada Way Arts District guided by renowned Upper Keys artist Michelle Nicole Lowe, discover the art of gyotaku or fish rubbing with Upper Keys artist Lisa Lee, explore Key West’s literary past and present on a guided Old Town Literary Walking Tour, take an art class at Key West’s Sacred Space Gallery, enjoy a performance at Key West Theater, experience four cultural museums and receive unique pieces of Keys-crafted artistry from their creators.

Just one entry per person is valid, with the winner to be randomly selected from all eligible submissions. Entrants must be legal U.S. residents and age 21 or older. The winner is to be notified on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
