Florida Keys Launches Newly Enhanced Tourism Website: Fla-Keys.com

FLORIDA KEYS — The Florida Keys & Key West tourism council has launched a new version of its visitor website at fla-keys.com that features new videos, dynamic photography and streamlined content to make travel planning a breeze.

The official tourism site of the Florida Keys & Key West provides highly visual and compelling information on each of the island chain’s five districts — Key Largo, Islamorada, Marathon, Big Pine and the Lower Keys, and Key West, as well as easy guides to find things to do and places to stay.

The site is filled with timely information including the latest news about upcoming festivals, fishing tournaments, cultural offerings, sustainability and green travel, new accommodations and attractions, wedding and honeymoon options, and ways for visitors to connect with and protect the 125-mile island chain’s environment.

Accommodations listings are enhanced by availability information and an easy-to-use integrated booking system.

"Our newly refreshed website is visually stunning and easy to navigate, making the trip-planning process almost as much fun as visiting our beautiful destination," said Stacey Mitchell, director of the council.

"New destination videos are prominently featured on each Keys district’s landing page that capture the distinct personality and essence of the area,” Mitchell said.

Users are guided to find content on sustainability initiatives such as “Connect & Protect,” diving and fishing adventures, special events through both a regularly updated calendar and in-depth news stories, and ways to discover the unique culture and cuisine in all districts of the island chain.

Useful too are sections for meeting planners and travel agents, information for travelers with disabilities, weather and climate details, and visitor safety information.

The site also features live feeds from more than 45 webcams that offer real-time views from Key Largo to Key West. User-generated images are showcased as well.

In addition, prominent links guide users to the FloridaKeysTV streaming channel, social media platforms, “Keys Voices” blog and Florida Keys Traveler podcast.

Fla-Keys.com is designed and hosted by Two Oceans Digital with content provided and managed by the Keys’ tourism council.
