Key West and Florida Keys Recognized in Condé Nast Traveler's Readers' Choice Awards

FLORIDA KEYS — Readers of Condé Nast Traveler have rated Key West and the Florida Keys number 10 and 14, respectively, among the Best Islands in the United States in the prestigious travel publication’s 2021 Readers' Choice Awards. Additionally, Key West was ranked seventh among the Best Small Cities in the U.S. 

According to the publication's survey criteria, awards reflect the combined opinions of more than 800,000 Condé Nast readers who rated a wide variety of resorts, cities, cruises and other travel offerings around the globe.  

“Key West and the Florida Keys are honored to be recognized, particularly during such a challenging time for the industry and its workforce,” said Stacey Mitchell, director of the Keys Tourist Development Council. “Receiving these rankings is a testament to the Keys residents who take pride in introducing visitors to our island communities, unique natural offerings and way of life.”

The Condé Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards are the longest-running and most prestigious recognition of excellence in the travel industry. Award winners are posted online at cntraveler.com/rca and highlights are to appear in the November 2021 Condé Nast Traveler U.S. and U.K. issues.
