  • In Florida's most notorious retirement community, a recent widow is pulled into a senior-citizen Neverland where venereal disease rates are the highest in the nation, and sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll never die.  Edna is starting over in a bizarro Disney version of the twilight of life.  Along the way she finds her voice and purpose with the help of an eccentric cast of new friends that comprise the rowdiest old lady gang since the Golden Girls.  SUNSET VILLAGE is an off-Broadway comedic odyssey from Florida playwright Michael Presley Bobbitt is as life-affirming and heartfelt as it is outrageous.   • Always popular with concert audiences in the Keys, Frederick Moyer returns for another of these stunning performances. During more than thirty years as a full-time concert virtuoso, he has appeared as piano soloist with numerous world-renowned orchestras in all parts of the globe. Tickets $30. Performance begins at 7:30 p.m., Marathon High School Performing Arts Center.

  • It's expected to be a smorgasbord of tropical plants, "used treasures" as part of a rummage sale, a plant sale and raffle, even baked goods and honey! Attendees can find Keys and South Florida natives, bamboo, palms, heliconias, bromeliads, crotons, orchids and unusual, rare tropicals. Meet plant experts, browse local art vendors.
