Due to the coronavirus crisis, many near-term special events in the Florida Keys have been, or are likely to be, canceled or adapted to virtual environments. Highest risk continues to be large in-person gatherings where it is difficult for individuals to remain spaced at least 6 feet apart and attendees travel from outside the local area.

Are you an Apex Predator or a Reef Defender? Participating teams choose to compete in one of these two divisions for the prize category of Most Lionfish. The “Apex Predator” Division is for more competitive teams aiming for greater prize money. The “Reef Defender” Division is for the more casual teams. All teams compete together for prizes awarded to Smallest and Largest Lionfish caught. Minimum 2-person teams, up to 4 person teams eligible to participate. Early-Bird registration is $75 per team on or before April 10, 2021; $100 per team on or before April 23, 2021 by 4 p.m.
