These works are earth-friendly in the selection of materials (including recycled and natural material) and themes. Sculptures by local artists accent the natural beauty of the conservation site on Stock Island through July 31, 2020, 10am-4pm seven days a week.

- Angling teams targeting dolphin fish can vie to “catch” cash and prizes totaling more than $35,000. Largest dolphin weighing over 50 pounds can win $20,000. Proceeds of this annual family-oriented tournament benefit the Lower Keys Chamber of Commerce.

- The nationally-acclaimed submerged songfest is held at Looe Key Reef in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. The marine musical event is set 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and staged by Keys radio station US1 Radio 104.1 FM. The music is broadcast underwater via Lubell Laboratory speakers suspended beneath boats positioned above the reef.

- Join the History of Diving Museum to celebrate PADI Women Dive Day. There will be a 10:30AM presentation with marine archaeologist Laurel Seaburn at the Museum. The cost to attend the presentation is $20 and includes admission to the Museum. HDM members are free! Later this evening, HDM and Key Dives will team together for a night dive followed by a toast to ladies in diving. Sunday, everyone is invited to participate in guided tours that will highlight the ladies that have shaped and continue to shape the diving world. Call or email to register for Museum events. - Writers, anglers and fans of the late author Ernest Hemingway’s work are to converge on Key West for the annual Hemingway Days celebration. The festival honors the legacy of the American literary giant who lived and wrote on the island for most of the 1930s. Scheduled highlights include a virtual symposium with presenters including Ernest’s grandson John Hemingway.

- Anglers ply the waters once fished by writer Ernest Hemingway, vying for $50,000 in guaranteed cash prizes. Held in conjunction with Key West's annual Hemingway Days festival, the event awards $25,000 to the first-place team. Teams can enter one fun fish (dolphin, tuna, wahoo or released sailfish) per day to add to their point total.

- Mini-Season dates are scheduled the last consecutive Wednesday and Thursday of July each year. Officers from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will be at work during the Lobster Mini-Season to ensure that safe boating and lobster regulations are obeyed. Begins 12:01AM on day one and ends midnight on day two. Click link for important spiny lobster regulations for 2020 season, and for information about no-take areas in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary.

THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES by Eve Ensler, introduces a wildly divergent gathering of female voices, including a six-year-old girl, a septuagenarian New Yorker, a vagina workshop participant, a woman who witnessed her best friend give birth, a Bosnian survivor of rape, and a feminist happy to have found a man who “liked to look at it.” Performances Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening shows at 8:00 pm with a 3:00 pm matinee offered on Sunday, January 17.
