Make a splash July 3-6 at the Key West Mermaid Festival, where ocean magic meets whimsical fun. This fin-tastic celebration highlights ocean conservation with a thoroughly imaginative twist, including a July 4 party at Lagerheads Beach Bar, 0 Simonton St. Boasting an array of vendors, the signature event takes place July 5 at the Florida Keys Eco-Discovery Center, 35 Quay Rd. Attendees can snap photos with mermaids who will be waiting in themed outfits throughout the attraction. Show up early at 9 a.m. for Donuts with Ariel! Kids are encouraged to dress in ocean-themed costumes.
