There may be lengthy delays in both directions. Fire crews will also be blocking traffic for fire mitigation/air water drops throughout the day. Closures can be expected for extended periods of time.
Expect continued disruptions in and out of the Florida Keys as the weather/fire mitigation efforts continue to impact traffic.
The Florida Forest Service is working with Miami Dade Fire Department to contain the grass fire that’s affecting 350 acres and is currently 25% contained.
