- Richard Watherwax has more than 40 years’ experience in commercial, editorial, advertising and wedding photography. After 25 years shooting in Manhattan for top corporate brand clients, Watherwax found his home in Key West where he took to the easy, laid-back atmosphere of Key West like a duck to water. He developed his own unique style of art that many have called ‘Watherwax Whimsy.' The exhibition marks the photographer's 90th birthday later this year. The exhibition, on display through Nov. 24, is displayed in the Bryan Gallery at the Custom House Museum, 281 Front St.

- The phenomenon known as Sublime, arguably the most energetic, original and uniquely eclectic band to emerge from any scene, anywhere, ended with the untimely death of lead singer, guitarist and songwriter Brad Nowell in May of 1996. But encompassing the sense of place and purpose long associated with Sublime’s music, Badfish, a Tribute to Sublime continues to channel the spirit of Sublime with a fury not felt for some time. - The Joy Ride, a thrilling two-day, 165-mile bicycle adventure from Miami to Key West, continues the philanthropic legacy of the SMART (Southern Most HIV/AIDS) Ride, which raised funds for HIV services organizations for 20 years. Participants are required to meet a fundraising goal to support benefiting agencies. This is a fully-supported cycling event with pit stops, route support teams, first aid, bike tech and an overnight stay at Hawks Cay Resort in Duck Key. - Key West Theater: The Broken Hearts - Tribute to Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers

- The Broken Hearts were created by former Tom Petty and Mudcrutch band mate, bassist Charlie Souza, along with singer/songwriter Shawn Scheller as a tribute to Petty's passing in October of 2017. Originally intended only as a temporary project, the group of musicians including keyboardist Robin Swenson (Air Supply, Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons, 3 Dog Night), guitarist Joe Sanders, drummer Scott Lockhart, Souza and Scheller became continuously requested to return to events in Tom's honor.
