Multigenre Live Music to Headline Islamorada’s 25th Annual Bay Jam

ISLAMORADA, Florida Keys — Live musical performers representing jazz, country, rock and funk genres are to play for audiences from midday into the evening Sunday, March 31, at Islamorada’s Bay Jam 25.

The outdoor concert takes place at the ICE Amphitheater at Founders Park, mile marker 87 bayside on Plantation Key. Doors open at 10 a.m. and live performances begin at 11 a.m. and continue until 7 p.m.

Bay Jam 25’s lineup includes Montana native Stephanie Quayle, considered one of the nation’s 2019 breakthrough country artists; the Nag Champayons from Miami’s Little Haiti, presenting “Afrogalactic tropidelic” offerings; the reggae/funk/jazz sounds of Kat Hall; and pure rock n’ roll from Michael Allman, Miami’s PEAR band and Florida Keys native-turned-west-coaster, singer/songwriter Jackii Kennedy.

Keys musicians are also to share the stage, including the Lower Mat Rats; Micah; Key West’s Kim Jade Fry & the Good Thing; and two Islamorada regulars, Bill Todd and Dave Feder, Bay Jam’s founder and longtime guiding spirit.

Bay Jam festivities also include artisan booths and festival souvenir merchandise, cool drinks and island edibles. Coolers are not permitted. Attendees can bring lawn chairs and blankets or enjoy a swim at the bayside beach. Well-behaved leashed pets also are welcome.

General admission donation is $10 per person age 18 and older, $5 per person for college students and free for seniors and kids age 17 and younger. Parking is available inside Founders Park.

The not-for-profit Islamorada Community Entertainment presents the daylong music festival. Event proceeds help fund in-school programs and arts and music scholarships for Upper Keys high school students. ICE events have contributed nearly $500,000 toward these grants.
