  • An impressive collection of artwork and extraordinary sculpture by world-renowned artists Bill Mack and Gary Welton will be on exhibition, through March 1 at Key West Gallery, 601 Duval St. Bill Mack, artist of Presidents, Celebrities and Luminaries, premiers his Hollywood Collection. Mack will be making very special appearances at the gallery on Friday, Feb. 28 and Saturday, February 29 from 7:00pm – 11 p.m. The gallery is open every day from 10 a.m. – 11 p.m. RSVPs for the Artist Appearances are suggested.

John’s live television concerts, including the seminal ‘Live at Red Rocks,’ have raised more than 20 million dollars for Public Television.   • Derek Hagen, Education Program Manager for The Coral Restoration Foundation will focus on the history of the Florida Reef Tract, and what Coral Restoration Foundation’s volunteer team has achieved with its restoration work. Informative lectures are held at the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park visitor center and aquarium, mile marker 102.5 oceanside, from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. Park gates open at 7 p.m. for all lectures. There is no charge to enter the park to attend lectures. Visitors are urged to arrive on time to assure seating in the auditorium.

  • “Buckles and Boots” means a casual flair for the evening, from 6:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. at the Islander Resort Conference Center, Islamorada, mile marker 82. Tickets for the cocktail party are $250 per couple or $150 per person. This year, the special guest speaker is Grammy-award-winning singer, songwriter and actor Huey Lewis. A long-time supporter of Habitat for Humanity, he hopes this cocktail party will exceed previous years’ revenues for the fundraiser and make a significant contribution to HFHUK’s Thanks a Million capital campaign. To help reach that goal, Lewis is donating a two-night stay at his Montana ranch, including a day of fishing for two with him aboard his boat. All tickets may be purchased online.

  • Natalia Kazaryan, pianist and Impromptu’s 2020 “Rising Star”, has performed at a number of prestigious venues across Europe. She has received top prizes from the Eastman Young Artists International, Kosciuszko Foundation Chopin, and the New York piano competitions as well as the Concours FLAME and Concours international de piano d’Ile de France. She studied at The Juilliard School and recently completed her doctoral studies at the University of Michigan. All Impromptu Classical Concerts are at 4:00 PM at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 401 Duval St. in Old Town.

  • “The Connections Project: A Mosaic of the Keys” is a large-scale mural created each year out of nearly 400 individual 6-inch-square canvases painted or adorned by local artists and arts supporters. The 2020 mural normally travels the Keys for public viewing, but in response to the coronavirus situations and the CDC's precautions against large group gatherings, in lieu of normally planned receptions through the Keys, the mural will remain on display at Marathon’s Shady Palm Art Gallery, 2888 Overseas Highway, until further notice.

  • An Obie Award-winning whirlwind tour of a forbidden zone. THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES by Eve Ensler, introduces a wildly divergent gathering of female voices, including a six-year-old girl, a septuagenarian New Yorker, a vagina workshop participant, a woman who witnessed her best friend give birth, a Bosnian survivor of rape, and a feminist happy to have found a man who “liked to look at it.” Performances Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening shows at 8:00 pm with a 3:00 pm matinee offered on Sunday, January 17. Tickets $25 pp.
