January brings sailing enthusiasts two chances to celebrate the exhilaration of wind and waves in the warm subtropical climate of the Florida Keys.
First, the North American Multihull Sailing Association North American Championships and 2009 Tradewinds Midwinter Nationals are scheduled Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 17-18, in Islamorada waters. Next, sailboats and crews from around the world are to compete in the waters off Key West during Acura Key West 2009, set for Monday through Friday, Jan. 19-23.

Lower Keys Resort to Stage Jan. 11 Bayfront Music Fest
